Any plans for an upgrade path for G3 owners to G5 or is it purely a replacement only. If replacement only are there any incentives or discounts for existing G3 owners?

Aside from the compact/integrated design with the power unit attached to each actuator could you detail what if any performance advantages the G5 has over the G3 or are they functionally identical and the biggest difference is the packaging/footprint on the G5?

(I’m assuming the software controlling them is identical as well but if not please share)

It is replacement of the actuators.
G5 will work with RJ45 connection and only 1 processor instead of 2 for 4 actuators. So it will be more flexible and easy to integrate.

Thanks for the introduction @Jean-François (what’s his shortname, can’t find his @ on the forum) . Very looking forward for HEMC support of non-coded content and of course console (xbox x / ps5) support.

I also would also like to see a way to use the chairs more often by expanding the content in a totally different way like for relaxation / meditation / “massage” or other cycles (sleep, unstress,… ) (more or less) subtle vibration and movement sessions in combination with a music or videotrack (a walk in the forest, mountains, etc, ect).

Time for some other level relaxation in the d-box chairs! :wink:
